South
Carolina Treasure and Artifact Association - September Minutes September 30, 2015
The
SCTAA met on September 28, 2015 with 31 in attendance. The club has a total of 42 members so far
this year. We have 23 hunters signed up
for the Fall Hunt at Lake Lure.
Robert
Weaver presented the program titled “Encouragement” in Kenny’s absence. One
tip Robert and his son learned the hard way, was to always have a backup
detector at a competition hunt. Robert
would also like input from members regarding planning and conducting another
hunt in November or next spring. He and
son, Rodney, made an eBay purchase of a jar of old coins and will report back
about what the jar contained.
Members
were reminded that officer nominations will take place in October and voting
will take place in November.
Upcoming: Lake Lure Hunt October 24, 2015
