SCTAA. April 2013


South Carolina Treasure and Artifact Association  - April Minutes                          April 24,  2013             

 

The SCTAA met on April 22, 2013 with 28 in attendance.  We welcomed new members Paul and Brenda Brown, Kenny Brackett, Kent Creamer and Wayne and Susan King.  The program covered the coming Spring Hunt and the Myrtle Beach detecting trip.  Anyone who can join in on the hunt can pay the $30 fee the day of the hunt.  Others are also invited to come to the beach trip for a day or two or all week for group hunting and fellowship at Randy's condo or while eating out. 

 

Important Dates: Spring Hunt at Moore, SC Farm on Gas Plant Rd. - May 4, 2013 10a.m. - 1p.m.

                            Myrtle Beach Metal Detecting Trip - June 15 - 22, 2013

                            Fall Hunt at Lake Lure - October 26, 2013

 

March treasury ended with a balance of $534.70.  We collected: Money Donations for Points - $91; donation can - $14;  2013 Spring hunt fees $150 (given to Robert/not put in the treasury); 2013 club dues - $125.  The closing balance is $764.70.  The next meeting will be May 20 (the fourth Monday falls on Memorial Day and the Greer Rec. Centers are all closed).
