South Carolina Treasure and Artifact Association – March Minutes              

March 28, 2016

The SCTAA met on March 28^th with 28 in attendance. Our new paid members are: Mike Mullins, Darrell and Thomas Johnson, Greg and Dawn Modzel, and Greg Parma.  This gives the club of 40 paid members for 2016.

Upcoming Events. The Blacksburg hunt is scheduled for April 23^rd and 24^th.  Fees range from $60 to $165.   Randy Gatchel puts on an excellent event, and we encourage all to participate.  Handouts are available at the meeting.

Minutes:  The Lake Lure Hunt is scheduled for the 8^th or the 22^th of October.  Members will be notified as soon as the actual date is confirmed.  Until then, please leave both dates open.  We will begin collecting money in July.

Randy Gatchel gave a presentation on his upcoming event in Blacksburg.  We wish him a successful hunt.

On a separate note Randy must give up his position as treasurer due to health issues.  We are currently looking for someone to replace him.  Anyone who wishes to volunteer should contact Kenny Brackett.
